RAPICIDE™ OPA/28 High-Level Disinfectant and Test Strips

RAPICIDE OPA/28 High-Level Disinfectant is a reusable, OPA-based solution for manual or automated endoscope reprocessing of heat-sensitive, semi-critical medical devices. The disinfectant effectively inactivates Tuberculosis (TB), Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), Vancomycin-resistant enterococcus (VRE), and Carbapenem-resistant Enterobacterales (CRE) with a 5-minute contact time at 77°F (25°C), or 10-minute contact time at room temperature (min 68°F (20°C)). The easy-to-read RAPICIDE OPA/28 Test Strips accurately measure that minimum recommended concentration of ortho-phthalaldehyde (OPA) has been met prior to reuse, with a 3-second dip time and 90-second read time.
