STERIS product number EL201 is a next-generation surgical anti-stick solution specifically designed for precision electrosurgery. As an electrosurgical instrument contacts tissue, coagulated or carbonized tissue may adhere to the instrument tip. This buildup, known as eschar, can impede current flow, increase resistance during cutting, and require cleaning of the instrument during the procedure.

Electro Lube™ NXT can help reduce eschar buildup, minimize instrument cleaning interruptions, and support procedural efficiency during open, minimally invasive, and robotic electrosurgery. With EL201, you can optimize instrument performance with a 71% reduction in cutting force, reduce hand backs with a 39% reduction in eschar accumulation, and experience a 70% reduction in tissue sticking. 

EL201 is sold in a box of 20, and includes applicator sponges with each bottle.
